Lindsey Hasak

Lindsey Hasak (she/her) is a 6th year doctoral candidate in the Graduate School of Education, specializing in Developmental and Psychological Sciences.

Her research interests center around translating insights from cognitive neuroscience and psychology into potential practices by collaborating with educators. Her neuroscience work seeks to understand how the brain combines visual and auditory information related to reading processes. Lindsey's dissertation work explores the development of multisensory integration and early literacy skills in the context of a research-practice partnership with a local K-8 school.

Prior to Stanford, Lindsey received her B.S. in Psychology - Cognitive Neuroscience and her B.A. in English from the University of Florida. In her free time, she enjoys exploring hikes and tide pools all around the Bay Area.
