Madi received her B.S. in Psychology from Sewanee: The University of the South with a minor in neuroscience and a certificate in creative writing, connecting her interests in the brain and reading early on. Prior to coming to Stanford, Madi was a postgraduate associate at the Yale Child Study Center. At the GSE broadly and within the Educational Neuroscience Initiative, Madi has begun to explore how readers engage with narrative and what narrative engagement can result in from an interdisciplinary perspective.
